Happy Thanksgiving

I have much to be thankful for this year. Salvation, family that truly loves each other, a wonderful boyfriend, a funny (sometimes naughty) dog, God's protection and provision during the events of this year, a job, a place to live, food, and the list could go on and on.

Thanksgiving day started off with the Turkey Trot. I have never participated in the event, but the Turkey Trot is a tradition for Will's family. We did the one mile walk. It was a little overwhelming with the amount of people, but we had a great time walking and talking together.

After that was over, I went back home and went back to sleep. Then, I prepared the pumpkin bars that were requested by Will's parents.

Will's parents hosted Thanksgiving this year. My parents came up for the meal and we all had a great time. I missed the rest of my family, but am thankful that I got to spend the day with my parents, Will, and his family!
